March 12 through March 23, 2001

This year's cruise took us to 6 new ports of call in 11 days.  Each port welcomed us with hot beaches, white sand, and clear warm waters.  Unlike our eastern Caribbean cruise of 2000, we were not harassed at each port by locals trying to sell us something.  This was quite a relief.   However, some people did tell us that while they shopped in Jamaica, they were offered pot, coke, and hash. What, no heroin?!

We cruised out of Miami on the Royal Caribbean Vision of the Seas.  We had 4 days at sea and 6 ports:

• Key West, FL

• Playa Del Carmen, Mexico (just long enough to drop us off)

• Cozumel, Mexico

• Georgetown, Grand Cayman

• Ocho Rios, Jamaica

• Oranjestad, Aruba

• Willemstad, Curacao

Oh, the boneless relaxation! There is nothing as wonderful as a cruise!
