Here we are getting off the ship in Key West, Florida.  We are on a mission from God: to find Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville store and cafe before we have to meet back on the pier for our glass-bottom boat tour of the only living coral reef in North America.

Welcome Key West

Jimmy Buffett's Margarittaville Cafe
Maps in hand, we headed off to 500 Duvall Street. It was remarkably hot for nine in the morning, and we were halfway there before we realized we were walking on the sunny side of the street, baking unnecessarily in the sun. We sheepishly crossed the street and cooled off.

All the walls in Jimmy Buffett's Margarittaville Cafe are covered with photos and memorabilia.

I really love the one with Jimmy talking on the phone while eating a cheeseburger!

Wall 1
"Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa!"  Jimmy really was an altar boy! (see group photo, right)

I didn't know what to think of the one in the lower right corner of the picture. He appears to have no pants on, standing there fishing. Does that help you land a big one?

Wall 2
This mural stretches across the wall above the door into the cafe.

I include this info for Patsy:  The bathrooms are, according to a small sign shaped like an arrow, 3 miles away, and they're not kidding. I went down a couple of long, dark hallways, up some stairs... and started to think there wasn't a bathroom at all. But there was, and it was nice.

Jimmy
We managed to see a some extremely rude shirts.  Here are just a few:

I'm shy, but I have a big D*CK

A pair of underwear that read "I love to fart"

I'm a drunk
