A visit to downtown Seattle would not be complete
without a visit to Pike Place Market. A huge outdoor market filled
with fresh fruits and vegetables as well as many artful shops. Of
course the highlight is the fish market where 25 years after Bill
Clinton's visit, they are still tossing fish around.
After a complete walkthrough the market, we walked
down to Pioneer Square where Seattle got started. We took the
underground tour where you can see what Seattle was like before the fire
that destroyed the young city.
Afterwards we had lunch at a Cajon restaurant that
was quite good. We then walked through the square admiring the
totem pole and fauna.
