1/2 bay leaf
Chicken stock
Pearl rice (uncooked)
1.5 tbsp fine chopped onions.
1.5 tbsp unsalted butter melted.
1/8 tsp garlic powder


Follow rice and chicken stock quantities as well as cooking time according to package directions.
In sauté pan, heat butter.
Add onions and sauté until soft.
Add rice and sauté for 4 minutes.
Add bay leaf and chicken stock.
Reduce heat, cover, and cook for 15 minutes or until rice is soft.
Remove bay leaf and server.
