So after a year of surgeries and recovery, we finally got
out to see part of North Carolina.

So we drove out to Wilmington for the day. This
beach is Wrightsville beach. Very nice.

We had a spectacular lunch at the Oceanic. This
fabulous restaurant has a large deck over the beach so that you are
literally having lunch on the beach.
 |
After we walked on the beach, we drove to the boardwalk
along the Cape Fear river. Really nice setting. Lots of shops,
restaurants, shopping, and scenery.

We made note to come back and eat at George's on the
boardwalk. Looks like a great place.

You don't think Karen went somewhere without shopping do
you?
