Manzanita

Click to enlarge The Inn at Manzanita.  VERY nice and comfortable rooms.  Good size rooms with balconies, gas fireplace, hot tub, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, morning newspaper, and great service.

The Arbors
Click to enlarge Another fine bed and breakfast in Manzanita.  We stayed here a few years ago.  A block away from the beach.  Very quiet since it is off the main road of Lameda.
Click to enlarge It's for sale!

Rockaway Beach

Click to enlarge Kind of looks like a dragon.

Ocean Side

Click to enlarge Located at the end of route 6.  From Tillamook, take route 6 all the way to the end.  Ocean Side consists of a few homes, a coffee shop, and House on the Hill motel.  Great place to hang on the beach while watching wildlife on the enormous rock formations.

Manhattan Beach

Click to enlarge Located just north of Rockaway.  This beach is tucked away and not visible from the road.  From the parking lot, you head down one of several paths through trees down to the beach.  Quite worth the trip.
Click to enlarge Oh my!  Is this an Alfred Hitchcock movie?

Canon Beach

Click to enlarge Eureka!  We finally found a parking spot at Canon Beach!  After all these years of driving through, we found a nice parking spot and hung out for 3 hours.

This is Haystack Rock.

Click to enlarge Amazing stuff all around Haystack Rock, little tide pools teeming with marine life.
Click to enlarge Tiny little fishies that you probably can't see.
Click to enlarge See all the star fish on the rock?
Click to enlarge HUGE star fish.  Not cooperating, grumpy... would not stretch out all five legs in that classic star fish pose.
