Big Sur is a must see.  The drive along the edge is breath taking.  Seems to go on forever.  If you go, Nepenthe is a must stop on the way.  This restaurant is perched on a rock overlooking gorgeous scenery.  The foot isn't fancy, but it is absolutely yummy and well prepared.  The service is awesome.  Go on a warm day and sit outside and enjoy the view.
