We went on a guided tour that included St Paul's Basilica
Outside the Gates.
Here is St. Paul.
They excavated underneath the altar and believe to have
found the burial site of St Paul himself.
There
is a red glowing candle there, always lit, in honor of the grave site.
The stained glass windows in this church were not made of
glass. Instead, these are thin slices of alabaster (stone). They
were so beautiful and glowed with the sunshine.
