If you don't know about Stonehenge, then you should be
watching the Discovery channel. In a nut shell, some of these stones are over 25
feet high weighing several tons. There are no stones any where by (other then maybe
the Rolling Stones) for at least 30 miles. Yet, Stonehenge was built about 4000
years ago. How did those nuts get these huge stones here? How did they
position them? There of course are theories about aliens. Who knows.
It's pretty interesting though. The landscape around this for miles and miles is
just rolling hills of grass. There were considerably many more stones at one
time. People used to steal them or ram their cars into the stones before the British
government declared them a national monument and fenced off the area.
