Statue of Liberty
Met our tour guide Doug at 7 a.m. to visit
the Statue of Liberty. We took the subway down to Ferry for Liberty
Island. Walked around outside Statue of Liberty taking pictures. Then we
climb the 195 steps up to the pedestal period went inside and looked at
Museum. Touched full size replica of feet and face. So lots of statues
and artifacts regarding artists and Engineers who created the statue.
Took ferry to Ellis Island and to work Immigration Center. Took the
subway home.
Had lunch at a Chinese restaurant in Hell's Kitchen called me Noodle
Chinese restaurant. Carol had Fu and I had shredded beef in garlic
sauce. Walk to Saint Patrick's Cathedral and
then walk through Rockefeller Plaza and so ice skating rink. Later went
to see School of Rock great show. Grab a couple slices of pizza on the
way back to hotel.
