This is the church next to the leaning tower of Pisa.  Our guide tried to convince us that the church and Battistry were both more interesting that the tower.

The church is interesting in that it is in the shape of a cross, if seen by air.  Did the architect imagine future helicopter tours?  Or was he hoping to catch God's eye?
